So today I wanna share my deep dive into that new 120 Degree V6 setup everyone’s buzzing about. Total letdown for me.
The Setup Drama Begins
Heard all this hype online about “revolutionary angles” and “unique stability,” right? Grabbed the kit super eager. Unboxing felt like Christmas morning – shiny parts, neat manuals. Fired up my workstation, rolled up my sleeves. Felt good.
Plugged in the main board first. Seemed straightforward. Connected the first three sensors like the booklet said. Green lights blinked. Nice. Then I hooked up the V6 core unit. Big mistake.
When Things Went Boom
The second I powered on the V6 module? Total system freakout. My main monitor went black. The workstation fans started screaming like jet engines. Smelled something weird… kinda like burnt plastic?

Manually reset the whole unit jumper by jumper. Re-flashed the firmware twice. Finally got past the lock. Made sure everything sat perfectly level with a spirit tool. Restarted the calibration… slowly… step one… step two…
At step seven, another freeze. Gave the table a frustrated kick. Mistake. Sensor readings went bananas again. Had to restart the whole process three more times. Almost threw the kit out the window.
What Actually Worked (Kind Of)
Finally got calibration done on the fourth attempt. Ran the test sequence. The “ultra-wide detection” kept mistaking my coffee mug for a target object. Stability was okay until I walked past the table – vibrations threw it off completely.
And the big sell? That 120-degree magic? Yeah, it spots things at wider angles… but accuracy drops like a rock. Side objects showed up on screen with a lag. Made tracking feel drunk.
Packaged the whole mess back up after two hours of wrestling with it. My take? Feels like overhyped junk with gimmicky labeling. The “special” part? Probably how many hours you’ll lose trying to make it work right. Still finding random screws on my floor.
