Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another story from my weekend adventures. This time, we’re talking about the 2018 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Man, what a wild ride that was!

So, it all started back in April, the 27th to be exact. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was super pumped for this race ’cause Azerbaijan always delivers some crazy action. I made sure to clear my schedule for the whole weekend, from the 27th to the 29th, ’cause I wasn’t going to miss a single second.
Getting Ready for the Race
First things first, I got all my snacks and drinks ready. You can’t watch F1 without the proper fuel, right? Then I checked the schedule, made a note of the race start time, and set my alarms. I even did a little research on the track beforehand, just to get myself even more hyped.
The Race Day – April 29, 2018
Race day arrived, and I was glued to the screen. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. From what I gathered, Lewis Hamilton was the man to watch, driving for Mercedes. That guy’s a legend! There was also Kimi Raikkonen in his Ferrari, and Sergio Perez driving for Force India. These guys were all top contenders, so I knew it was gonna be good.
The race started, and it was intense from the get-go. There were so many overtakes, crashes, and close calls, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I remember shouting at the TV like a madman. The whole race was quite intense.
The Results
When the dust settled, it was Lewis Hamilton who took the win! That’s what I heard from others, and I was so happy for him, he really deserved it after such a tough race. He would go on to win the World Championship in Mexico. Raikkonen ended up in second place, and Perez snagged third. What a podium, right? I also heard that Max Verstappen finished fifth because of some issues with his car, and he was quite frustrated about it! Hamilton started from the pit lane but still managed to make it to the top. Amazing!

- 1st: Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes)

Overall, the 2018 Azerbaijan Grand Prix was one for the books. It had everything you could want in an F1 race – drama, excitement, and some surprising results. I spent the rest of the day rewatching highlights and reading race reports online. It was the perfect way to wrap up an epic weekend.
So, that’s my story of the 2018 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Hope you guys enjoyed it! Until next time, keep your engines revving!
