Okay, so I’ve been trying to get back in shape, and I heard about this “2023 Challenger Weight” thing. I figured, why not give it a shot? It sounded kinda cool, and frankly, I needed a kick in the pants.

First things first, I looked up what this whole Challenger Weight thing was even about. Turns out, it’s not some crazy diet or anything. It’s more about setting a realistic weight goal and working towards it throughout the year.
My Starting Point
- I stepped on the scale. Ouch. That number was a bit of a wake-up call, I won’t lie.
- Then, I grabbed a notebook and jotted down my current weight. It’s important to have a starting point, right?
Setting My Goal
I didn’t want to go crazy and set some impossible goal. So, I thought about what felt achievable but still challenging. I picked a number that was lower than my current weight, but not so low that I’d get discouraged and give up. I write it down.
The Plan
- Food-wise, I’m not doing anything drastic. I’m just trying to eat more veggies, cut back on the junk food, and pay attention to portion sizes. Basic stuff, you know?
- For exercise,I started going for walks a few times a week. Then I will plan on join a gym. Baby steps!
Tracking My Progress
Every week, I hop on the scale and write down my weight in my notebook. It’s kind of motivating to see the number go down, even if it’s just a little bit. And if it doesn’t go down? Well, that just means I need to tweak something. Maybe eat a little cleaner, or push myself a bit harder on those walks.
It’s not always easy. Some days, I really want to just eat a whole pizza and skip my workout. But then I remember my goal, and I think about how good it will feel to actually reach it. That usually helps me stay on track.
So, that’s my 2023 Challenger Weight journey so far. It’s a work in progress, for sure, but I’m feeling pretty good about it. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about making progress. And that’s exactly what I’m doing!
