Okay, so I’ve been hearing about this “martin finger” thing, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” So, I decided to give it a try. First, I tried searching online for what on earth it referred to, and I was surprised by what I saw! Then decided to do it myself.
I started by getting my hands ready. I mean, you gotta limber up, right? Wiggled my fingers, stretched them out – the whole nine yards. Made some fists with both of my hands to feel ready.
- First, I washed my hands. Gotta be clean, you know?
- Then, I made sure I had enough space. Didn’t want to knock anything over.
- Finally I choose my middle finger.
Then, after the preparation, I positioned my hand, I hesitated for a sec.I felt my heart beating faster, not in a bad way, just, you know, that feeling when you’re doing something a little bit… naughty. Then decided to continue my attempts.
And finally I extended my middle finger, keeping the others tucked in. It felt… weird. Kinda liberating, but also a little bit silly. I think I even giggled a bit.
My Thoughts
Honestly, it’s just… flipping the bird. It’s not exactly rocket science. But it did make me think about how such a simple gesture can have so much meaning. It’s like, this tiny movement can be a huge “screw you” or just a playful joke, depending on the *, I did it. I “martin fingered.” Not sure I’ll be doing it all the time, but hey, at least now I know what it is!
