Man, today was a doozy! I decided to tackle this weird fraction thing, 123/88. I don’t even remember where I saw it, but it stuck in my head, and I just had to figure it out.
First, I grabbed my trusty old notebook and pen. I’m kind of old-school like that – I like to see things written down. I started by just staring at the numbers. 123… 88… What to do, what to do?
Then, it hit me – let’s try dividing! So I whipped out my phone’s calculator (okay, so I’m not completely old-school) and punched in 123 divided by 88.
- The result? 1.3977272727… Whoa, that’s a lot of numbers after the decimal!
I jotted that down in my notebook. It didn’t look pretty, but it was a start. I wanted to see if I could simplify this beast somehow, make it a little less… messy.
I tried to find a common factor, something that could divide both 123 and 88. I thought it must exist somthing can be divided .

But after a while,I still can’t find something. Looked like 123 and 88, they’re just… stubborn. They don’t want to be simplified any further. That’s just the number can’t be changed,maybe.

So, I guess 123/88 is just… 123/88. Or that long, repeating decimal, 1.3977272727… It’s not always pretty, but that’s the answer I ended up with after all this messing around. Sometimes you just gotta accept things the way they are, I guess!
