Okay, so today I decided to dive into Girls’ Frontline 2 and specifically focus on getting that Mosin-Nagant. Gotta say, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
First Steps: Figuring Out the Basics
First things first, I launched the game. I’d already played a bit before, so I had a basic understanding of the interface. If you’re brand new, spend some time just clicking around and getting familiar with the menus and stuff.
My goal? Mosin-Nagant. But where to even start? I poked around the in-game menus, looking at the different T-Doll acquisition methods. It seems like there are various ways to get new dolls, including production, events, and maybe even through specific story missions.
Production: Taking a Gamble
I decided to try my luck with production first. This is where you use resources (manpower, ammo, rations, and parts) to try and craft a T-Doll. I remembered from some online guides that Mosin-Nagant is a 4-star, so there’s a decent, but not guaranteed, chance of getting her.
I inputted the recommended resources I found. Truth be told, I just kinda guessed at the numbers based on what others had posted, it’s all trial and error. I think I went with something like 400/400/400/200, but don’t quote me on that. I crossed my fingers and hit the production button.
- First try: No luck! Got a 2-star. Oh well.
- Second try: Still nothing special. Started to wonder if I was doing something wrong.
- Third Try! Another 2 Star, I am gonna be crazy!
- Fourth & Fifth Try: Still nothing!
I kept at it, burning through my resources. I probably did about 5 or 6 production runs, and…still no Mosin-Nagant. Feeling a little bit defeated.
Exploring Other Options
Okay, production wasn’t working out. Time to explore other avenues. I remembered something about events often having specific T-Dolls as rewards. I checked the in-game announcements and event tabs. Nothing currently running that featured Mosin-Nagant, unfortunately.
Back to Basics: The Story
With production and events striking out, I decided to just focus on playing through the story missions. Maybe, just maybe, she’d be a reward for completing a specific stage. I’d been neglecting the main storyline anyway, so it was time to catch up.
Finally SUCCESS
I played some story, used my other T-dolls and finally, I finished a mission, I got it! Got Mosin-Nagant as a mission reward!
