I needed to know, like, right then and there, when Season 2 was dropping. My fingers were flying across the keyboard, typing in “when is season 2 of hazbin hotel coming out”. Hit search. Bam.
And man, the internet is a wild place. First bunch of results? Total junk. Just fan sites guessing, random blogs making stuff up, probably just trying to get clicks. Saw dates ranging from next month to like, 2077. Super helpful, right? Sifted through maybe ten or fifteen of those before getting annoyed.
Digging for Real Info
Alright, I thought, gotta be smarter about this. Where would real news come from? Okay, VivziePop, the creator, she’s gotta know. Or maybe Prime Video, since they’re the ones streaming it now. Official channels, yeah?
So, next step, I jumped onto social media. Checked Twitter first, searched for Hazbin Hotel, VivziePop, A24, Prime Video. Scrolled through tons of fan art (some really good stuff, actually) and people freaking out just like me. Found some vague posts from official accounts saying things like “stay tuned” or acknowledging the show’s success. Okay, positive signs, but still no date.
Then I actually opened the Prime Video app. Went to the Hazbin Hotel page. Season 1 sitting there, looking pretty. Looked all over – description, episodes section, related content. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Just Season 1.
So, What Did I Find?
After more digging, reading through articles that actually quoted interviews or official press releases, I finally got something solid.
- Yes, Season 2 is confirmed. Like, 100% happening. They greenlit it ages ago, apparently even before Season 1 finished airing. That was a huge relief. They’re definitely working on it.
- It’s in production. Voice acting might be done or well underway, animation is happening. That whole process.
But the big question – the release date? Nobody knows for sure yet. Seriously. All the reliable sources basically say the same thing: it’s coming, but there’s no official date announced. I saw some speculation mentioning maybe late 2025, possibly early 2026, because animation takes a long, long time, especially good animation like this.
So yeah, the end result of my little quest? Season 2 is definitely on its way, which is awesome news. But pinning down exactly when? Impossible right now. We just gotta wait. It’s frustrating, cause I wanna see what happens next now, but hey, good things take time, I guess. Guess I’ll just rewatch Season 1… again.
