Who won the 2010 Brazil GP? See the full race results and how it impacted the F1 championship.

Alright, so today I got this itch to revisit the 2010 Brazilian GP. It’s one of those races that kinda sticks in your head, you know? So, I decided to dedicate some time to properly go back through it, like a personal project almost.

First thing I did was try and remember what my setup was back then. Different TV, probably less comfortable couch! But seriously, I started by digging out some old notes and then looked up the basic results just to refresh my memory. It’s funny how some details fade, but the big picture stays.

Digging into Qualifying

I specifically wanted to re-experience that qualifying session. Found some highlights online – wasn’t easy, had to search around a bit, avoiding dodgy sites. But I got there. And man, seeing Nico Hulkenberg grab that pole position for Williams, in those tricky wet-drying conditions… it was just as surprising now as it was back then. Total shocker. You just don’t forget moments like that. Pure driving.

Race Day Rewind

Then I moved onto the race itself. Found a decent condensed version, couldn’t sit through the whole thing again right now. The main thing was watching the start and how the Red Bulls managed to get ahead. Vettel took the lead, Webber slotted in behind. Alonso was right there too, the championship fight was so intense at that point.

I remember the tension watching it live, and even watching the replay, knowing the outcome, you still feel it a bit. You had:

  • Vettel controlling the race from the front.
  • Webber needing points, following his teammate.
  • Alonso trying to maximize his score, holding onto third.

It wasn’t the most action-packed race wheel-to-wheel maybe, but the championship implications made every lap feel important. Seeing Red Bull clinch the Constructors’ Championship there, with their 1-2 finish, that was a big deal. You could see the team celebrating, quite a moment for them.

So yeah, spent a good chunk of the afternoon just immersing myself back into that weekend. Didn’t really do anything complicated, just watched, remembered, and kind of appreciated the drama of that season finale build-up. It’s good to do that sometimes, just go back and revisit these things. Solid practice session in F1 history for me today.
