Aaron Judge Baby News: Is Aaron Judge Expecting a Baby?

Alright folks, let’s dive into my little weekend project: “aaron judge baby.” No, I didn’t actually make a Judge baby (that’s his business!), but I did try to create a 3D model of a baby…looking kinda like Aaron Judge. Here’s the messy journey:

First off, I fired up Blender. I’m still pretty new to this whole 3D modeling thing, so bear with me. Started with a basic sphere, because, well, that’s kinda baby-head shaped, right? I tried to use reference images, you know, of babies and, okay, maybe a little bit of Aaron Judge’s face for the jawline…hey, gotta have some inspiration!

Then came the sculpting. Oh man, the sculpting. Pulling and pushing vertices, trying to get the cheeks right, the little button nose. I swear, baby faces are deceptively hard. It’s all subtle curves and soft edges. I kept messing up and undoing, Ctrl+Z was my best friend for a good hour.

Biggest hurdle: The eyes. Getting those baby eyes right is crucial. Too big, and it looks like an alien. Too small, and it just looks…wrong. I ended up spending way too much time tweaking the eye sockets and the eyeballs themselves. I even downloaded a tutorial on realistic eye modeling. Worth it, kinda.

Next up: Hair! I wanted that fuzzy, baby-fine hair. Blender’s particle system is a beast. I fiddled with settings for what felt like forever: length, density, randomness. It either looked like a helmet of straw or completely bald. After a bunch of trial and error (and some yelling at the screen), I got something that resembled baby hair. Not perfect, but passable.

  • Base Mesh: Sphere
  • Sculpting: Endless tweaking
  • Eyes: Tutorial helped a lot
  • Hair: Particle system nightmare

Then, and this is where the “Aaron Judge” part came in, I tried to subtly adjust the jawline and brow to resemble his features a little bit. Just a hint, mind you. I didn’t want a full-on Judge clone, just a baby with a touch of that Judge-esque squareness. This was probably the most ridiculous part of the whole process, but hey, it was fun.

Finally, I did some basic texturing and rendering. Added a little bit of color to the cheeks, some gloss to the eyes. The render isn’t amazing, but it’s good enough for a goofy personal project.

The Result: It’s…well, it’s a baby. Sort of. Does it look exactly like Aaron Judge as a baby? Nope. But does it have a slight resemblance? Maybe, if you squint and use your imagination. It’s more like a baby with a potential for future Judge-like features.

Lessons Learned:

Babies are hard to model. Like, surprisingly hard. Also, I need to practice my hair particle skills. And maybe take a proper 3D modeling course. But overall, it was a fun and weird little experiment. Maybe I’ll try modeling a baby Ruth Bader Ginsburg next…
