So, I got this idea the other day, just kinda popped into my head while watching a game. Which baseball stadium is actually the highest up? Like, elevation-wise. Seemed like a simple enough question.

Naturally, I went online and started poking around. My first few searches were pretty basic, stuff like “highest mlb ballpark” and “stadium elevation list”. Found a lot of talk about Coors Field, obviously, everyone knows that one’s high up because the ball flies out of there. But I wanted a full list, you know? See how they all stack up against each other.
It took a bit more digging than I expected. Some sites had bits and pieces, others seemed kinda old or maybe not totally accurate. You get a lot of random forum posts and articles that just mention Coors and maybe one or two others. I wanted something more concrete.
Eventually, I managed to patch together information from a few different places that seemed decent enough. Felt like I had a solid number for pretty much every current park. It wasn’t rocket science, just took some patience, matching up stadium names with elevation figures I could find.
I just made a simple list for myself, nothing fancy. Stadium name, then the elevation feet I found next to it. Figured I’d share what I put together.

Yeah, Coors is way out front, no surprise there. But seeing places like Chase Field and Kauffman Stadium over 1,000 feet was interesting. And then you got a whole bunch right near sea level, especially on the coasts. Kinda cool to see it all laid out like that. Just a little project I did, thought it was worth sharing the results.
