Okay, so, I’ve been all over the internet trying to figure out the start time for the Formula 1 qualifying in Las Vegas. Turns out, it was a bit of a scavenger hunt, but I finally pieced it together.

First off, I hit up a bunch of different websites. Some were saying one thing, others were saying another. It was pretty confusing, to be honest. But I kept at it, because, you know, I really wanted to catch the qualifying live.
I started by checking out some general F1 news sites. They had some info, but it wasn’t super clear. Then I moved on to some more specific sites that focus on the Las Vegas Grand Prix. That’s where things started to get a little more interesting.
So, here’s what I gathered:
- Date: It’s happening on Friday, November 22, 2024. Yeah, I had to double-check that a few times too.
- Local Time: The magic hour is 10:00 PM local time. And since it’s Vegas, that’s -8 GMT.
- Global Time: For those of us not in Vegas, that translates to 6:00 AM GMT on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
I even found out that they’re using the usual Q1, Q2, Q3 knockout thing, which is good to know. Oh, and if you’re in the US, it looks like ESPN is where you’ll want to tune in.
Honestly, it took a bit of digging, and cross-referencing, but I think I’ve got it right now. I’m just glad I got it sorted out. Now I can plan my Friday night (or Saturday morning, depending on where you are) accordingly! This is round 22 of the Formula 1 season. I heard Max Verstappen might even clinch his fourth world championship in Las Vegas this weekend!

Hope this helps anyone else who was as lost as I was!
