So, I’ve been messing around with motorcycles for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I’ve had my hands on all sorts of bikes, big and small. But today, I want to talk about my latest adventure with the Bergman motorcycle. Yeah, the Suzuki Burgman, that’s the one.

First off, I got my hands on a used Burgman 650. I heard they were the best so i want to try it. I spent a few days getting to know this beast. Checked the engine, the brakes, the whole nine yards. It’s a pretty solid machine, I gotta say. It’s comfortable, it’s got plenty of storage, and it’s got some neat features.
Then, I started taking it out for a spin. Cruising around town, hitting the highway, you name it. The Burgman handles like a dream. Smooth ride, easy to maneuver, and it’s got some power under the hood. I pushed it to its limits, just to see what it could do and i can stretch my legs while driving, man that’s cool.
But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. I did run into a few hiccups. The previous models have suffered from problems with corrosion. So maintenance through winter months is important. But after a good cleaning and some adjustments, she was back in top shape.
I also tried out the Burgman 400. It’s a bit smaller than the 650, but it’s still a great ride. It’s perfect for city commuting, zipping through traffic and all that. After the 650 and 400, i’m thinking of buying a new 300 xmax next time. Wish me luck!
After riding it, I took some time to jot down my thoughts. What I liked, what I didn’t like, you know, the usual stuff. I compared it to other bikes I’ve ridden, like the V-Strom and the Yamaha Majesty. It holds its own, that’s for sure.

So, that’s my story with the Bergman motorcycle. It’s been a fun, sometimes challenging, but always rewarding experience. If you’re thinking about getting one, I say go for it. Just be prepared to get your hands dirty and maybe learn a thing or two along the way.
- Pros:
- Comfortable ride
- Plenty of storage
