So today I was thinking about Bazzi’s age compared to other singers. Felt like digging into who’s actually the youngest in the scene. Grabbed my laptop and jumped straight into it.
Starting My Research
First thing, I punched “how old is Bazzi” into Google. Realized he was born in 1997 – okay, so he’s 26 right now. Then started listing popular singers in my head who seem young.
- Justin Bieber: Born 1994 – 29 years old
- The Weeknd: Also born 1990 – 33 already!
- Shawn Mendes: Born 1998 – so 25
Made me pause seeing those numbers. Always thought these guys were basically teenagers still. Shows how time flies huh?
Digging Deeper
Went over to Spotify charts to see current hot artists. Forgot about those TikTok viral singers! Checked ages for:
- 24kGoldn: Dude’s born in 2000 – only 23
- Lil Nas X: 1999 baby – 24 now
- Tate McRae: Crazy she’s just 20 – born 2003!
Got sidetracked watching music videos for 30 minutes. Almost forgot what I was researching. Closed YouTube quickly before falling down that rabbit hole.
The Korean Pop Surprise
Remembered K-pop has super young artists. Hopped over to a fansite to check:
- Jung Kook from BTS: 1997 – same as Bazzi
- Ningning from Aespa: 2002 – just 21
- Daniel from NewJeans: Maknae born 2005 – literally 18!
Mind was blown seeing actual teenagers topping charts. Different generation for sure.
Verifying Everything
Had doubts about some sites showing different ages. Cross-checked official profiles on:
- Korean company websites
- Billboard artist profiles
- IMDb pages
Trickiest part was international age vs Korean age system! Saw one site saying someone was 22 when actually 20 by our counting. Had to reconfirm three sources for those.
Final Findings
After wasting like two hours of my afternoon:
- Bazzi (26) ain’t even close to youngest
- Mainstream youngest seems to be Daniel (18) and Tate (20)
- Honorable mention: Billie Eilish (21) still feels younger!
Funny how your brain gets stuck thinking artists stay the same age as when they first got famous. Anyway made my little comparison chart and finally closed all those messy tabs. Might do actors next week!
