Why I Decided To Watch Saric Today
Been hearing buzz about Dario Saric with Philly recently. Saw folks on Twitter arguing whether he still got that spark after the injury. Woke up thinking “man, I gotta see this myself”. Booted up the laptop while chomping cereal straight from the box.

How I Dug Up The Footage
Typed “Saric Philadelphia highlights” into the search bar like a madman. Clicked the first video that popped up – shaky fan footage but whatever. Turned volume way up when I saw the ESPN watermark in the corner. Grabbed my cold coffee as playback started buffering.
Things that made me yell at my screen:
- That first quarter putback dunk! Dude came outta nowhere like a freight train
- His passes from the high post – three straight possessions hitting shooters in the pockets
- The way he bodied up Embiid during practice drills pregame. Zero fear
Nearly choked when he drained that turnaround jumper with 2 seconds on shot clock. Rewound that play four times just to see his footwork. Solid pivot, no wasted motion. Textbook stuff.
What Stuck With Me After Watching
His motor never quit. Remember thinking “dang, this guy’s like a Swiss army knife out there”. Sets screens like a bulldozer then sprints to corner for threes. What surprised me most? His defensive rotations. Anticipated passes like he’d seen the playbook.
Still can’t believe how his hair stays perfect during full-court sprints though. That’s real talent right there.
