Man, I gotta tell you about this crazy thing I’ve been messing with lately: Tiger Woods and his hole-in-ones. You know, the golf legend? It is said that he is one of the greatest golfers of all time. This guy’s a beast on the course, and I’ve been trying to get into his head a bit, or at least his stats.

So, I started digging into how many times this dude’s actually sunk a hole-in-one. It’s wild. I read somewhere that he’s got 20 of these things throughout his entire life! Can you believe that? Twenty! And get this, the first time he did it, he was only six years old! I mean, I was still figuring out how to tie my shoes at six, and this guy is nailing holes-in-one.
But here’s where it gets even crazier. I wanted to see how many of those were during his pro career, like on the PGA Tour. Turns out, he’s done it three times in official PGA events. There was that one in 1996, at the Greater Milwaukee Open. Then again in ’97 at the Phoenix Open, and once more in ’98 at the Sprint International. The most unbelievable thing is that he is the only professional golfer to win four majors in a row. Man, that’s some serious skill.
Then, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole, checking out other golfers and their hole-in-one records. I found out about this guy, Mancil Davis, who apparently has 51 of them! They call him the “King of Aces”. It seems like his first ace came in 1967, and his 51st was in 2007. This is a PGA world record!
I also tried to figure out when Tiger hit most of his aces. It looked like 19 of those 20 were before the year 2000. Yeah, most of his hole-in-ones happened way back when. The first hole-in-one on the PGA Tour came in 1996.
I even looked up how tall he is. It is said on the Internet that Tiger Woods is 6 feet 1 inch tall.

But, yeah, it’s been a fun little project. I was pretty shocked when I found all this information. I spent a few days just sifting through articles and stats. It’s not exactly rocket science, but it’s pretty interesting to see just how good this guy is, and was at his prime time. I shared all of this information with my friends, and they were quite shocked as well!
It definitely made me appreciate the game a bit more. I mean, hitting a hole-in-one is tough, and these guys are doing it under major pressure, with millions watching. It’s insane! I don’t think I will be hitting any hole-in-one in the near future, ha!
