Okay, so today I wanna talk about “woopig,” which I stumbled upon recently. I mean, I was just browsing around, looking for some stuff about the Arkansas Razorbacks, you know, college football stuff. And boom, I found this thing called “woopig.”
At first, I was like, “What the heck is this?” It sounded kinda funny, you know, “woopig.” But then, I saw that it’s actually a chant, a cheer, something called a “Hog Call.” It’s like a tradition for the Razorbacks fans. They yell “Wooo Pig Sooie!” or something like that. That got me interested. So, I started digging a little deeper.
I found this website, , but it was all locked up. It said, “Only registered members are allowed to access this section.” So, I was like, “Alright, challenge accepted!” I tried to sign up, but it didn’t really work out. Maybe I messed up somewhere, or maybe it’s super exclusive, I don’t know.
Then I went down a rabbit hole on some forums. People were talking about *, and how it used to be this big thing for Razorback fans. They were saying it was like a place where they could chat and get news and all that. And then, apparently, it kind of changed. Someone said something about a political forum getting weird. I didn’t really get into that, seemed a bit messy.
- I found a subreddit, r/woopig, but it was kind of empty.
- I saw some posts about the “Woo Pig Sooie” chant, and how it’s a big deal for Razorback fans.
- There was also some talk about some kind of market where they sell Razorback merchandise. I saw a hashtag, #woopig, on some pictures of those items. I guess it’s a thing.
And then there was this thing about the Bar-B-Q Place, but it was just a date, September 12, 2015. Not sure what that was about. Maybe an event or something? I didn’t spend too much time on it.
Oh, and then I saw something about woopig streaming on Twitch. I checked it out, but there wasn’t much going on. I guess they stream sometimes, but I didn’t catch them live.
After all that, I’m still not 100% sure what woopig is all about. It seems like it’s a mix of things. It’s a chant, it’s a website, it’s a community, maybe it’s even a brand. I’m still a little confused, but it was a fun little adventure trying to figure it out. I guess it’s just one of those things you gotta be a part of to really understand. Maybe I’ll keep digging, or maybe I’ll just leave it as a mystery.
