Okay, so I’ve been meaning to catch a Phillies vs. Athletics game for a while now. Finally, I decided to go for it and started looking into it. Here’s how it went down.

First thing I did was check when they were playing. Turns out they have a game coming up on July 12th. Perfect! Then I had to figure out where they were playing. The Phillies are usually at Citizens Bank Park, and the A’s at RingCentral Coliseum. I wasn’t sure which one it was for this game, but it’s at Citizens Bank Park.
Next up, tickets. I started hunting for the best deals, you know, trying to save a few bucks. I read somewhere that the best seats for shade are in sections 213-221 behind home plate or in rows 20 and above in sections 113-120. I’m not a big fan of sitting in the sun, so I made a mental note of that. Also, apparently, all the outfield seats are a no-go if you’re avoiding the sun.
Someone mentioned that the upper deck behind the plate, as close to the center as possible, is a pretty sweet deal because it has a cool view of the city. I kept that in mind too. After comparing a bunch of different sites and deals, I finally snagged some tickets that seemed like a good price.
After buying the tickets, I started looking into how to watch the game, you know, in case I can’t make it in person. But then, I saw someone saying that if you want the best views and comfort, lower-level seats along the first or third baseline are the way to go. They said it gives you a close-up look at the players and you still get the whole crowd vibe. Sounds good to me!
- Checked game date: July 12th
- Confirmed location: Citizens Bank Park
- Researched best seats for shade and views.
- Found decent tickets online.
- Looked into how to watch the game.
So yeah, that’s my whole experience getting ready for the Phillies vs. Athletics game. It took a bit of digging, but I think I’ve got it all sorted out now. Pretty excited to see how it goes! Also they have other games like: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Oakland Athletics; Chicago Cubs vs. Oakland Athletics; Chicago White Sox vs. Oakland Athletics, and so on. Maybe I will go there next time.
