Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Cyberpunk 2077” game lately, and there’s this character, Meredith Stout, who you can, you know, get with. I figured I’d give it a shot and see what the fuss was about. Gotta say, the whole thing was kind of a letdown, but I’ll walk you through what I did.
First off, you gotta meet up with Meredith before you go deal with those Maelstrom gang guys. It’s during this mission called “The Pickup,” I think. So, I went and talked to her, made sure to play it cool, you know?
The First Meeting
- I met up with Meredith.
- She gave me a credchip with some malware.
Now, here’s where it gets a little tricky. You have a choice to make with the credchip Meredith gives you. I decided to use her credchip to pay for the bot. I didn’t tell the Maelstrom guys about Militech’s plans, just played along with their whole deal. I mean you can warn them but then I’m not sure what would happen next. I guess no Meredith?
Making Choices
- Used her chip for the transaction.
- Didn’t tell the gang about Militech.
After you get the spider bot and fight your way out of the Maelstrom hideout, you’ll run into Meredith again outside. I talked to her, and she seemed pretty pleased with how things went down. We chatted for a bit, and she was all, “Hey, we should, you know, hang out sometime.” I was like, “Sure, why not?”
After the Fight
- Met Meredith outside.
- She was happy with the outcome.
- She suggested we “hang out.”
Later on, she texts you and invites you to this, uh, “romantic” encounter at a motel. It was all very…business-like, to be honest. Not exactly the most passionate thing I’ve ever experienced. After that one time, she pretty much ghosts you. I guess she’s not the relationship type. I tried to have other relationships as well, and guess what, this didn’t affect anything. So you can have fun with whoever you want.
The “Romance”
- Got a text from Meredith.
- Met her at the No-Tell Motel.
- Had a brief, impersonal encounter.
- Got ghosted afterward.
Honestly, the whole Meredith romance thing felt pretty hollow. It’s like they just threw it in there for kicks. If you’re looking for a real connection in the game, you’re better off with Panam or Judy. Those storylines actually have some heart to them. But hey, if you’re just looking for a quick fling, Meredith’s your gal. Just don’t expect anything deep or meaningful. It’s more like a one-night stand than anything else. She made it clear she wanted something serious, and so did I.
