Hey everyone, it’s been a while! Today, I wanna talk about something that’s been taking up a lot of my time lately – the 250 Rebel. Yeah, that little Honda cruiser. I’ve been on a real motorcycle kick recently, and this one caught my eye.

So, I started digging around, you know, just to see what these things are all about. Found a bunch of listings online, some old, some new, from dealers, from private sellers, all sorts of stuff. Prices are all over the place, too. I saw some older models, like from the ’80s, going for around a grand, maybe a little more if they’re in good shape. Newer ones are way more, obviously. There’s this 2024 model I saw, brand new, for like five and a half grand. Sheesh!
I started getting really into it, comparing prices, looking at pictures, you name it. It’s crazy how many different versions of this bike there are. And the prices? Forget about it. You can find ’em for a steal, or you can pay a premium, depending on the year, the condition, and who’s selling it.
Then I started reading about what people were saying about the 250 Rebel. Lots of folks saying it’s a great beginner bike, easy to handle, not too powerful. Some people were talking about how it’s not great for the highway, which makes sense, it’s only a 250. I guess the top speed is only like 70 miles per hour? And it takes its sweet time getting there, too. Almost 12 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph.
But I kept at it. I found this one listing for a used one, not too far from me. It was a decent price, and the pictures looked good. So, I decided to go check it out. The seller was a cool guy, let me take it for a spin around the block. It felt good, you know? Light, easy to maneuver, just like everyone said.
Long story short, I ended up buying it! I brought my new baby home. I’ve been riding it around, getting used to it, and I gotta say, I’m loving it. It’s just a fun little bike to cruise around on. And it has great potential to be modified into a bobber!

So yeah, that’s my 250 Rebel story. I went from just casually browsing online to actually owning one. It’s been a fun ride so far, literally! I’ll keep you guys updated on how it goes. Maybe I’ll even try to take it on a longer trip sometime, just to see how it does. Who knows! Anyway, that’s all for now. Catch you guys later!
