Okay, so I heard about this thing called a MadAss, made by some German company called Sachs. Sounds crazy, right? I figured, why not give it a shot? So, I started digging around to learn more about it. Turns out, this Sachs company has been around forever, since like 1886. They started in a place called Schweinfurt in Germany. These days, they make these MadAss bikes in China and put them together in Malaysia.

First off, I tried to get my hands on one. They come in different sizes, like 49cc, 125cc, and even a 160cc version. I got my hands on the 125cc one, which I heard has something like 8 horsepower, which should reach about 56 mph.
Getting it started was simple enough. It’s not a big bike, so it’s pretty easy to handle. Took it out for a spin, and man, it’s a bumpy ride. The suspension is, well, let’s just say it’s not made for comfort. Felt every little bump on the road. But hey, it’s more like a fun little toy than a serious ride.
Riding around the neighborhood, I got some curious looks. It’s not every day you see someone on a MadAss. I tried to push it a bit, but it’s not built for speed, obviously. Still, it was a blast zipping around on it. I even tried taking it on some rougher roads, but that was a bit too much for the little guy. The suspension, or lack of it, made sure I felt every rock and pothole.
Here are some things I noted down:
- Start: Found a MadAss 125cc to try out.
- Ride: Took it for a ride. It’s small and the suspension isn’t great.
- Explore: Rode it around different places, got some funny looks.
- Test: Tried it on bumpy roads, which was rough.
After playing around with it for a while, I parked it and just looked at it. It’s a weird little thing, but kinda cool in its own way. It is not something I would use every day, but I had fun, that is for sure. If you’re looking for a smooth ride, this ain’t it. But if you want a fun, unique little bike to mess around on, the MadAss might just be your thing.

So, yeah, that was my experience with the MadAss. It is definitely an adventure. Would I recommend it? Sure, why not? Just don’t expect a luxury ride, and be prepared for a whole lot of shaking.
