- First track day, I was still getting used to the track layout, so I didn’t go all out. But even then, I hit about 120 mph on the straightaways.
- Second time on the track, I was more familiar with the corners and could carry more speed onto the straights. I pushed it harder and managed to get up to around 125 mph. The bike felt really stable, even at those speeds. It’s actually a good size to start on because you won’t ever really find it lacking.
Final Thoughts
So, from my experience, a 400cc motorcycle can definitely go pretty fast. I was able to get mine up to around 125 mph, and I’ve heard of people getting them even faster. Of course, it depends on the specific bike, the conditions, and the rider’s skill. I heard that the top speed of some models such as the Kawasaki Ninja ZX4RR can reach 157 mph.
