So, I was digging into this whole “Kirby Iceberg” thing the other day, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride.
At first, I was just messing around, you know how it is. I saw this picture of an iceberg, the usual meme format, but it was all about Kirby. I thought, “Oh, cute, I know Kirby, he’s that pink puffball that eats everything.” But then I start seeing all these weird phrases and names I’ve never heard before. Stuff like “Sectonia” and “Keke” “Klinkos”. That’s when things started to get interesting.
I started by looking up some of the easier stuff, the stuff I could see on the tip of the iceberg in the picture. Basic Kirby knowledge, right? But then, I decided to go deeper. There was this article, some sort of deep dive into Kirby lore, that caught my eye. It was pretty dense, but I stuck with it. I read through the whole thing, taking notes on the important bits.
Mainline Games and Lore
- I learned that Kirby has a bunch of games, like, way more than I thought. They’re called “mainline” games.
- These games have some kind of connected story, a “lore” as the article called it.
I was really getting into it now. I started digging up information about specific characters and places mentioned in the iceberg.
Iceberg Stages
- Apparently, there’s a place called “Iceberg” in one of the games, “Kirby’s Dream Land 3”.
- It has different stages, like levels in a game.
- Stage 1 is all snowy and stuff, and Kirby has to climb a hill.
- Stage 6 has all the “Mid-Bosses” from the game. Bosses are like the big bad guys you have to fight.
My head was spinning with all this new information. I spent hours on forums, reading fan theories and discussions. It’s crazy how much people know about this pink little guy! Then I encountered Sectonia. In the normal ending, she is defeated by Kirby. In the True Arena, she comes as a soul version. This was really crazy! I wrote the word “Sectonia” on my notebook.
Putting It All Together
I decided to make my own little chart, trying to organize all the stuff I was learning. I drew a big iceberg on a piece of paper and started filling it in with the different levels of Kirby lore, from the common stuff at the top to the really obscure things at the bottom.
After it’s done, I shared it on my social media. I also added some captions to introduce it. I said “NOT for sparking yet another drama.”
It was a fun little project. It’s amazing how much depth there is to something that seems so simple on the surface. I guess that’s why they call it an iceberg, huh? You only see the tip at first, but there’s a whole world hidden beneath.
