Today I want to talk about this place called Clancey’s Market. It’s a little deli spot I found near Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach in the Sunset district.

So, the first thing I did was look it up online. Found out it’s located at 3960 Irving St in San Francisco. Apparently, it’s open from 10 AM to 6 PM most days, and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sundays. Good to know, right? I made a mental note to remember those hours.
I saw some pictures online, and man, those sandwiches looked huge. I read that they use Boar’s Head meats, which sounded pretty fancy. Also, they apparently have European chocolates and gourmet groceries. I figured it would be a good spot for a quick lunch and maybe to grab some snacks for later.
Getting there was pretty easy since I live just a few blocks away, but parking can be a pain in that area. Anyway, I walked in, and the place was buzzing, especially since it was lunchtime. I got in line and started checking out the menu.
I ended up ordering one of their sandwiches. The reviews were right; it was massive! And it was on this delicious San Francisco sourdough roll. It totally hit the spot. While I was waiting, I noticed they had a bunch of wines and beers, too. Looked like a good selection.
One funny thing that happened was I almost forgot my wallet at home. I was gonna have to go back and get it, but luckily they took PayPal. Saved my life!

Overall, Clancey’s Market is a solid spot. The food was great, the people were friendly, and they had a bunch of other stuff you could grab while you’re there. I’ll definitely be back. And not just because I live close. It’s a real find!
