So I was flipping through the channels the other day, and bam! There’s this commercial with Jason Momoa, you know, the Aquaman guy. But it wasn’t what I expected.
I started to watch it. It was a commercial for Rocket Mortgage, shown during the Super Bowl. That game had a ton of ads, but this one caught my eye.
At first, I saw Momoa all muscular and tough, like he always is. But then, he started to take off his muscles! It was so weird. He ripped off his “skin” and even his hair. Underneath, he was this skinny, bald dude. Totally not the Momoa I’m used to seeing in those action movies.
I kept watching, trying to figure out what was going on. I guess the idea was that even tough guys like Momoa need to relax and be comfortable at home. And Rocket Mortgage is supposed to help you find that comfy home, I guess.
There were also some other actors, Zach Braff and Donald Faison. And Jennifer Beals had a quick appearance in a T-Mobile commercial that I watched before. Those are funny and all, but the Momoa one was just bizarre.
