Today I wanted to mess around with some blueprints in Satisfactory, specifically ones from other players. I figured, why not try out some cool designs other people have made? It sounded simple enough, but I quickly realized it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought.

First, I had to find some blueprints. I went online and started looking around, found a bunch of them, and downloaded a few that caught my eye. They were all in a .sbp format, which is the standard blueprint file for Satisfactory.
Figuring Out the Save File
Now, the real challenge began. I needed to figure out how to get these blueprints into my game. I knew they had to go somewhere in the game files, but where? I started poking around in the Satisfactory folder on my computer. I found the save files, but they were all in a .sav format. This is where things got tricky.
After some digging and a bit of trial and error, I realized that I needed to convert these .sav files into something that the game’s blueprint system could understand. I did some more research and found out that there’s a tool out there, an online tool in a web page, that can do this, but I can’t post link here due to the policy.
Using the Tool
- I went to the website with the tool and found the section to upload my save file.
- I uploaded one of my .sav files, and the tool worked its magic, giving me some options.
- I chose the option to view the save file, which showed me a bunch of data about my saved game.
Loading the Blueprints
Here comes the fun part. I scrolled down the page from the tool, and there it was – a section for blueprints. I clicked on it and saw an option to import a blueprint. This was it!
- I clicked “Import Blueprint” and selected one of the .sbp files I had downloaded earlier.
- The tool processed it and showed me a preview of the blueprint. It looked awesome!
- I then saved the changes back to my save file using the tool. It generated a new .sav file with the blueprint data embedded in it.
Back in the Game
Finally, I replaced my old save file with the new one that had the blueprint. I launched Satisfactory, loaded up my save, and there it was! The blueprint from another player was right there in my game, ready to be built. It was a bit of a process, but seeing the blueprint come to life in my world was totally worth it.

So, that’s how I managed to load blueprints from other players into my Satisfactory game. It wasn’t the easiest thing to do, but with a little bit of research and some tinkering, I got it to work.
