Okay, here’s my take on the “seahawks playoff chances” – a very personal and totally unofficial breakdown, of course!
Alright, so the Seahawks, my team, right? It’s been a rollercoaster. I was yelling, screaming, throwing, you named I would did everthing. It was the last two games, they had to win both.
First up, I fired up my laptop and went straight to… well, a bunch of sports sites. I needed to see what everyone was saying. What were the odds? What scenarios were we looking at?
Digging for Clues
- I checked out some power rankings. You know, just to see where the ‘Hawks stacked up against the other teams fighting for a spot.
- Then, I dove into the schedules. Who was playing who? Which games mattered most for us? I went insane when I saw the Rams won.
- I started messing around with those playoff predictor things. You know, where you pick the winners of each game and it spits out the playoff bracket? Man, I must have run that thing a hundred times, trying every possible combination.
I started feeling pretty good about the Steelers game. It seemed like we had a solid chance there. I saw a score prediction, and I was so sure that we could win.
But then, my heart sank. The Cardinals game. I was going crazy that we needed this game. I kept looking at all the tiebreaker rules. I was getting my wife and kids yelling with me together.I swear, my head was spinning.
Finally. I realized I had a pretty good grasp on the situation. I figured out that it was win-and-in , and we needed a little help from some other teams. We had to beat the Steelers and Cardinals. Then, we needed either the Packers or the Bears to lose. Simple, right? (Spoiler: it wasn’t simple).
I made some, shall we say, “spirited” posts on social media. I might have ranted a bit. Okay, a lot. But hey, that’s what being a fan is all about, right?
So, yeah, that’s how I spent my day trying to figure out the Seahawks’ playoff chances. Now all we do is play, wait, and hope! Go Hawks!
