Alright, so I wanted to keep better track of the 2022 World Cup, especially Germany’s performance. I’m a huge fan, and I figured, why not make this a little project?

Getting Started
First things first, I grabbed a notebook. Nothing fancy, just a regular one I had lying around. I decided I’d dedicate a page for each of Germany’s matches.
Tracking the Matches
For each match, I started by writing down the date, the opponent, and the time. I used some markers to make it a bit more fun, color-coding things and so on.
- Date: Made sure this was clear at the top.
- Opponent: Wrote down who Germany was playing.
- Time: Noted the kickoff time so I wouldn’t miss it.
- Group Stage: I kept score of groups for better management.
Watching and Noting
Then came the fun part – watching the games! As I watched, I jotted down key moments. Stuff like:
- Goals (who scored and when)
- Yellow/Red cards
- Any big plays or turning points
- My own little comments and reactions (mostly yelling at the TV, haha)
I tried to keep up, scribbling notes during the action. Sometimes I’d have to pause and rewind a bit to catch everything, especially when things got really exciting.
Post-Match Wrap-Up
After each match, I added a little summary. I wrote down the final score, of course, and a few sentences about how I thought Germany played. Was it a good game? A nail-biter? A total disaster?

Keeping it all together
Because It’s a group match,I have to search on google or other platform for keeping updating for other team’s score.
I used different color pens to represent win, lose or draw.
The Result
Well, Germany didn’t make it as far as I’d hoped in the 2022 World Cup sigh. It was a rough tournament for them. But, hey, I’ve got my notebook as a cool memento. It’s all there – the highs, the lows, and my messy handwriting documenting it all. Now it’s a fun, personal record of that World Cup journey.
