Okay, so I wanted to see how my buddy did in the Yonkers race yesterday. I totally forgot to check it live, so this morning I decided to dig up the results.

First, I just fired up Google. I mean, that’s where you start, right? I typed in something simple like “yonkers race results.” I figured that would probably get me close enough.
It did, but it gave me, you know, all sorts of races. So, I had to do some looking around.
I scrolled through the first few results, just scanning the page titles and little descriptions, trying to find something that specified yesterday’s date or looked like it would be a comprehensive listing of all the races and their results. You know how it is – lots of ads and stuff to wade through.
Then I went into a few of the sites that seemed to cover, it wasn’t easy I can tell you that. The interface wasn’t ideal but i managed to get the information.
Once I found my friend’s race, It was very clear. I scrolled down to see the finishing order. And boom! There he was. Not first place, but hey, he finished, and that’s what matters, right?
