Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “tj desantis” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride. I figured I’d share my experience, you know, just in case anyone else is trying to figure this out.

First Steps – What even is it?
I started, like everyone does, by just trying to get a handle on what this is all about. I did some searching, reading through some posts, trying to get the basic idea. Honestly, at first, it felt like I was swimming in alphabet soup. Lots of terms I didn’t get, lots of things I don’t understand.
Getting My Hands Dirty
Then I decide, time to start to do it. I figure the best method is to start with the simplest thing. Let’s begin the installation.
- Attempt 1: I tried to install the whole thing. Total fail. I didn’t understand the requirements, and ended up with a bunch of errors.
- Attempt 2: I tried to install the related package. Still no luck. I got my instruction wrong. I went back to the basics.
Back to Basics (and some head-scratching)
So, I hit the search page again. I watched a couple of videos, read more, and realized I’d missed some pretty fundamental steps. There were these dependencies, that I’d totally skipped over. I felt pretty dumb, not gonna lie.
I also realized the thing I was looking at had changed. There were new versions, new ways of doing things. This stuff moves fast, I guess.
Finally, Some Progress!
Armed with my newfound knowledge (and a slightly bruised ego), I went back. This time, I read the instruction very carefully. I made sure I had all those dependencies installed. I double-checked, triple-checked, and then… I ran the install command again.

And… it worked! Well, sort of. I got it installed, which was a huge win. But I still had a lot to figure out. I messed around with the settings, tried a few basic commands. It was slow going, but I was actually making progress.
Still Learning, Still Messing Up
I’m definitely not an expert on this “tj desantis” thing yet. I’ve still got a ton to learn. I’ve made a bunch of mistakes, and I’m sure I’ll make a bunch more. But I’m getting there. And that’s kind of the point, right? You learn by doing, by messing up, and by trying again.
I am so happy I finally managed to do it. Hope my experience can help others too!
