Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little experiment today with Drifblim, that big, floaty Ghost/Flying-type Pokémon. I wanted to really see what it struggled against, so I could be better prepared in battles.

My Drifblim Experiment
First, I grabbed my trusty Drifblim. I’ve had this guy for a while, and we’ve been through some tough scraps. He’s usually pretty solid, but knowing weaknesses is key, right?
So, I started throwing different Pokémon at it. I wanted to simulate a real battle situation. I wanted a variety pokemon and type to battle, to collect more data!
The Battles
- Ghost-types: I threw a Gengar at it. Man, those Shadow Balls did a number on Drifblim! Definitely a weak point there.
- Dark-types: Next up, a mean-looking Mightyena. Its Bite and Crunch attacks were super effective. Drifblim was not happy.
- Rock-types: I figured this would be rough, and I was right. A Tyranitar’s Stone Edge just wrecked my poor Drifblim.
- Electric-types: A Jolteon’s Thunderbolt? Yeah, that’s gonna sting. Drifblim went down pretty quick.
- Ice-types:Last but not least that I use a Weavile. It is really quick, One Ice Shard and it was almost over. Ouch.
What I Learned
It’s pretty clear from my little experiment, Drifblim really doesn’t like Ghost, Dark, Rock, Electric, or Ice-type moves. And I can see it now. Those types all exploit Drifblim’s dual-typing in a bad way (for Drifblim, at least!).
It was a good reminder that even a strong Pokémon has its bad matchups. Now I know to keep Drifblim far, far away from those types. I hope my little test helps you guys out, too! Knowing is half the battle, as they say.
