Okay, so I finally got my hands on a 2020 CBR 600RR. I’ve been wanting one of these for ages, and man, it was a whole process. Let me tell you about it!

The Hunt Begins

First off, finding one in decent condition wasn’t easy. These bikes aren’t exactly growing on trees, you know? I spent weeks scouring online listings, forums, and even checking out some shady-looking dealerships. Lots of dead ends, bikes with tons of miles, or ones that looked like they’d been through a war.

I was starting to get discouraged, to be honest. Then, I stumbled upon a listing a few hours away. The pictures looked promising – clean, low mileage, and the owner claimed meticulous maintenance. Fingers crossed, I made the drive.

First Impressions

When I saw it in person, I knew I had to have it. The red and black paint scheme was just killer. The bike looked almost new! I checked the usual stuff: tires, chain, sprockets, any signs of leaks or damage. Everything seemed legit.

The Test Ride

The best moment.

The owner let me take it for a spin, and wow. The power delivery was smooth, the handling was sharp, and that inline-four sound… music to my ears. I put it through some corners, tested the brakes, and everything felt tight and responsive. It have some power I’m suprised.

Sealing the Deal

After the test ride, I was sold. We haggled a bit on the price (of course!), but eventually, we reached an agreement. I handed over the cash, got the title, and officially became the owner of a 2020 CBR 600RR.

Bringing It Home & First Mods

I got it!

It was such a good feeling!

I start to change some parts of it.

  • change the oil
  • install new sprockets
  • try new tires

The ride home was pure joy. I couldn’t stop grinning. Since then, I’ve already started making it my own. Nothing major yet, just some small cosmetic tweaks – a new windscreen, some frame sliders for extra protection, and a tail tidy to clean up the rear end. I try to write down every little detail, just in case.

Overall, it was a bit of an adventure getting this bike, but totally worth it. It’s everything I hoped for and more. Can’t wait to put some serious miles on it!
