So, I wanted to mess around with this “mookie catch” thing I’d heard about. I’m not even sure what it is, just sounded fun and kinda silly. I guess it’s something with, like, grabbing cookies?
The Setup
First, I grabbed a pack of those soft-baked chocolate chip cookies. The ones that are always a little gooey. Gotta have the right tools for the job, right?
Then I found a buddy. It seems that this is a two person game, so my friend has to participate together.
The (Failed) Attempts
- Attempt 1: My friend tossed a cookie. I tried to catch it like normal…and dropped it. Classic me.
- Attempt 2: We thought, “Okay, maybe we’re too far apart.” So we moved closer. He tossed, I caught…but it crumbled in my hand. Too soft!
- Attempt 3: We switched roles. I tossed, he tried to catch. Nope. Splat on the floor.
- Attempt 4: We considered using a harder cookie, but we ate all the left.
Giving Up (and Eating Cookies)
We finally gave up. Turns out, we’re both pretty bad at catching cookies. Or maybe “mookie catch” is just impossible. Either way, we ended up just sitting on the couch, eating the rest of the cookies, and laughing about how much of a mess we made. Good times, even if we didn’t figure out this whole “mookie catch” thing. Maybe next time with better skills and preparation.
