Okay, so I’ve been on the hunt for a good, everyday hat. Something casual, not too flashy, that I could just throw on when I’m running errands or having a bad hair day. I’d seen the Nike Heritage 86 hats around, and I liked the simple, classic look. So, I decided to give the women’s version a try.
Shopping Around
First things first, I needed to find one! I checked a few different stores, some sport-goods shops and you know just looked around.
Trying it On
I Found one. Picked up the hat, I immediately noticed how light it felt. The material was soft, not scratchy at all. I tried it on, and it fit pretty well! It has this adjustable strap in the back, which is great. I have kind of a small head, so I always appreciate being able to tighten hats.
The Look and Feel
I went with a basic black one, because, you know, it goes with everything. It has the little Nike swoosh logo on the front, but it’s not super in-your-face. It’s just a nice, understated detail. The brim was pre-curved, which I liked, because I didn’t have to mess with shaping it myself. it just keeps the sun out of my eyes, and gives me a little shade.
I wore it around the store for a few minutes, just to get a feel for it. It felt comfortable, not too tight or too loose. It felt like something I could actually wear all day without getting a headache.

I was sold! I liked the fit, the look, and the price was reasonable. So, I bought it. Simple as that.
Wearing it Out and About
Since I got the hat, I’ve been wearing it a lot. I’ve worn it to the grocery store, to the park, on walks, just everywhere. It’s become my go-to hat. It’s holding up pretty well, too. No signs of wear and tear, even though I’ve been wearing it so much.
