Okay, so I’ve been messing around with these two skills, High Counter and Ali Dance, in Persona, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride figuring out which one is better, or if they even work well together. I started by slapping both of them on the same Persona, just to see what would happen.

First, I ran into some regular shadows, nothing too fancy. I wanted to see how often High Counter would kick in, and if Ali Dance would even matter. What I noticed was, High Counter felt kinda inconsistent. Sometimes it would activate, sometimes it wouldn’t. Ali Dance, on the other hand, seemed to be working more often, making my Persona dodge attacks left and right.
Testing the Limits
Then, I decided to up the ante. I went after some tougher enemies, the ones that really like to hit hard. This is where things got interesting. I quickly realized that relying on High Counter alone was a gamble. Sure, it could deal some serious damage back, but if it didn’t activate, my Persona was taking the full brunt of the attack. Ali Dance, while great for dodging, doesn’t do any damage, of course.
So, I started experimenting with different setups.
- I tried using High Counter on a Persona with high Strength, thinking it would boost the counter damage.
- I tried Ali Dance on a Persona with high Agility, hoping it would make them even more evasive.
My conclusion? It really depends on what you’re going for.
- If you want a risky, high-reward strategy, High Counter can be awesome. Just be prepared to take some hits.
- If you prefer a safer, more defensive approach, Ali Dance is your best bet.
Honestly, using them together wasn’t as effective as I thought it would be. It felt like they were competing with each other, rather than complementing each other. Maybe there’s a super specific build where they shine together, but for general use, I’d say pick one and focus on making it work with your overall strategy. That’s my two cents, anyway, from my trial and error runs!
