Hey everyone, so I’ve been messing around with this project, and I wanted to share my experience with you guys. It’s about changing up the look of the Alpine car for the 2024 F1 season. I decided to go with an all-pink livery, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the ride.

I started with the idea after seeing some buzz online about Alpine and their sponsor, BWT. They were talking about running a pink car for the last three races, starting with the Las Vegas Grand Prix. I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” It seemed like a fun project, and I’ve always been a fan of bold designs.
- First thing I did was gather some images and info about Alpine’s current design. I noticed they were using a lot of carbon fiber with some pink and blue highlights to save weight. But for this project, I wanted to go all out with the pink.
- Next, I started sketching out some ideas. I played around with different shades of pink and how to incorporate the BWT branding without it being too overwhelming. It was a bit tricky, but I eventually came up with a design I liked.
- After that, I moved on to the digital part. I used some design software to create a mock-up of the car with the new livery. Seeing it come to life on the screen was pretty cool. I made a few tweaks here and there until I was happy with the overall look.
Then came the fun part – sharing it with others. I posted my design on social media, and the response was amazing! People seemed to really like the all-pink look. Some even said it was better than the original design, which was a huge compliment.
But it wasn’t just about the looks. This project also got me thinking about the strategy behind livery changes. It’s not just about making the car look pretty; it’s also about branding, visibility, and standing out from the crowd. A bold design like this can really make an impact, especially in a visually driven sport like F1.
Overall, this was a really enjoyable project. It allowed me to combine my love for design and motorsports. Plus, it showed me the power of a simple color change and how it can transform the entire look and feel of something. I’m excited to see what Alpine actually does for the final races of the season. Hopefully, they’ll take some inspiration from my little experiment!
What I learned from this
I realized that even small changes can make a big difference. And sometimes, going bold is the way to go. Who knows, maybe we’ll see more teams experimenting with their liveries in the future. Until then, I’ll keep playing around with designs and sharing my ideas with you all.
