Apex Legends Weapon Tier List: The Ultimate Guide to the Best Weapons!

Alright, so I’ve been grinding in Apex Legends lately, trying to figure out which guns are actually worth picking up. And let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I decided to put together my own little weapon tier list, you know, just to keep track of things. It’s not like I’m some pro or anything, but I’ve definitely put in the hours.

Apex Legends Weapon Tier List: The Ultimate Guide to the Best Weapons!

First thing I did was hop into the firing range. I spent a good chunk of time there, just getting a feel for all the different weapons. You gotta see how each gun handles, you know? Like, the recoil, the fire rate, how fast they reload – all that good stuff. I tried out all the attachments, too. A good scope or an extended mag can really make or break a gun, right?

Then came the real test: actual matches. I started paying attention to which guns I was naturally gravitating towards. Which ones felt good in a fight, and which ones were letting me down. I started to notice some patterns. For example, the R-301 and the Flatline were always solid choices. I mean those are a no-brainer, but it was good to see them really perform, like every time I picked them up, I would do well.

My Findings

  • The R-99 and Volt: These SMGs absolutely shred. I was winning close-range fights like crazy with them. They fire so fast, if you land your shots, the other guy doesn’t stand a chance.
  • The Peacekeeper and Mastiff: Still powerful, but man, I had to get used to their slower fire rate. Hitting those big damage numbers is satisfying, but you miss a shot or two, and you are punished hard.
  • The Prowler with that Selectfire Receiver: Oh boy. That thing turns into an absolute beast in full auto.
  • Snipers: To be honest, I’m not the best sniper, but I found that the Charge Rifle is my jam. It’s just easier to use for me than the Longbow or the Sentinel.

After a ton of games, I started jotting down my thoughts on each gun. I made a simple little spreadsheet – nothing fancy. Just the gun name, the tier I thought it belonged in, and some notes on why. Gradually, my tier list started taking shape.

It’s not perfect, and I’m sure some people will disagree with me. But hey, that’s the beauty of it, right? Everyone has their own playstyle and preferences. I’m still tweaking it here and there as I play more. I’m also sure the pros have their own lists that are probably way different, but this is what works for me. It’s been a fun little project, and it’s actually helped me up my game a bit. So, yeah, that’s my Apex Legends weapon tier list story. It might not be much, but it is my own experience after all.
