Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at Apex Legends lately, and let me tell you, these Prestige Levels are something else. I wanted to share my experience with you all, just in case you’re diving into this rabbit hole too.

First off, I started noticing these cool-looking skins – they’re called Prestige Skins, and they’re basically these super rare, Mythic tier outfits for your Legends. I found out they were first introduced in the game’s 3rd Anniversary Event. I was like, “Gotta get me one of those!”
So, I looked into it. Turns out, each Prestige Skin has three tiers. When you unlock the first tier, you get a basic version of the skin, which is pretty sweet on its own. But here’s where the grind starts.
- Tier 1: You get this right away after unlocking the skin. Think of it as the “base model.”
- Tier 2: To unlock this, you gotta complete some challenges. I started with Bloodhound, and let me tell you, it took a while. For instance, I had to deal 30,000 damage while using Bloodhound. It was tough, but I eventually got there.
- Tier 3: This is the final form, the ultimate flex. And, of course, the challenges are even more intense. For Bloodhound, it was 100,000 damage. Yeah, you read that right.
The Grind
I spent days, maybe even weeks, just playing match after match. Using the character, trying my best to rack up that damage. It was a lot of effort, but seeing my skin evolve was pretty satisfying. You slowly start to feel more powerful, more…prestigious, I guess. It’s like leveling up in real life, but in a video game.
The best part? Once you unlock Tier 1, you don’t have to spend any more to unlock the other tiers. It’s all about putting in the time and effort. And don’t worry, you have an unlimited amount of time to complete these challenges, so you can take your time. For instance, it says that Apex Legends has a total of 80 levels, divided into eight prestige levels and 72 ranked levels. And those ranked levels are further split into three tiers: Bronze, Silver, and so on. So it is a long way to go.
Was It Worth It?
Honestly? For me, yeah. I love having something to work towards, and these skins are a great way to show off your dedication. Plus, they look awesome. It’s like a badge of honor, a way to say, “Yeah, I put in the work.”

So, if you’re looking for a new challenge in Apex Legends, definitely check out the Prestige Levels. Just be prepared to grind. It takes some serious effort, some patience, but it’s worth it in the end. Good luck, and may your damage numbers be high!
