Alright, so I wanted to watch the Arsenal game the other day, and I figured I’d share my little adventure of how I got it done.

First, I checked if I already had a way to watch it. I don’t have cable TV anymore, so I knew that wasn’t an option. Then I remembered something about Amazon Prime Video having some games, so I went and looked it up.
It turns out they were showing the Arsenal vs. Ipswich match, which was awesome! I saw that the coverage for the match started at 7 PM GMT, and the kickoff was at 8:15 PM GMT. That was perfect for me.
I already have Amazon Prime, so I just logged into my account on my laptop. They have this whole video section, and sure enough, there was the game. It was all set up and ready to go. I just had to wait for the broadcast to start.
While I was waiting, I also downloaded the official Arsenal app on my phone. I figured it would be good to have just in case. The app is actually pretty cool. It’s got live updates, scores, and all the latest news about the team.
So, I ended up watching the game on my laptop through Amazon Prime. It was super easy. The stream was smooth, no buffering or anything. I was chilling on my couch, enjoying the game, and occasionally checking the Arsenal app for live updates.

From what I read, it seems like after the game is over, you can also watch highlights on the Arsenal website or through their app. They said highlights are usually up from midnight after the match. I didn’t end up doing that, but it’s good to know for next time.
Overall, it was a breeze to get the game on.
- I found out the game was on Amazon Prime Video.
- I logged into my Prime account.
- I waited for the broadcast to begin.
- I also downloaded the official Arsenal app for extra updates.
- I watched the game live on my laptop without any issues.
My Two Cents
Honestly, it’s pretty convenient how many ways there are to watch games these days. If you’re an Arsenal fan, it looks like between Amazon Prime and the official Arsenal app/website, you’re pretty much covered for watching games and getting highlights. It was a smooth experience for me, so I wanted to share how it went in case anyone else is trying to catch a game.
