Alright, so check it, today I’m gonna break down how I slapped together a trevon diggs ceedee lamb wallpaper. It wasn’t rocket science, but I ran into a couple of snags, so figured I’d share the whole shebang.

First thing’s first, I needed some pics. I hit up Google Images, right? Searched for “Trevon Diggs action shot” and “CeeDee Lamb catch.” Spent like a solid half hour just scrolling through trying to find images that were high-res enough and looked good together. You know, similar lighting, angles that kinda matched… the whole nine yards.
Once I had my raw materials – maybe like four or five Diggs pics and the same for Lamb – I fired up Photoshop. Yeah, I know there are free options, but I’m used to Photoshop, so whatever. I created a new document, thinking about the dimensions of my phone screen. I’m rocking an Android, so I just googled my phone model and “screen resolution” to get the exact numbers. No point in making a wallpaper that’s all blurry, ya know?
Next up was the fun part: actually piecing things together. I dragged one of the Diggs images onto the canvas, resized it so it filled about half the screen. Then I grabbed a Lamb pic and did the same for the other half. This is where the tweaking started. They looked kinda… separate. Like two different pictures slapped together.
So, I messed around with the positioning. Tried having Diggs on the left, Lamb on the right, then switched it up. Played with the sizes, zooming in on their faces, then zooming way out to show more of the action. It was a whole lot of CTRL+Z, let me tell you.
To blend them a little better, I added a gradient overlay. Just a subtle thing, a dark-ish blue-grey that faded from the top down. Made the colors a little more consistent, which helped. Then, I added a layer mask to the Diggs image and used a soft brush to gently fade the edge where it met the Lamb image. That got rid of that harsh line. Not completely, but it helped.

Here’s where I hit a snag. The wallpaper looked… flat. Like it was missing something. So, I tried adding a text layer with “Diggs” and “Lamb” in a cool font. Nope, looked cheesy. Then I experimented with adding a subtle pattern overlay – just some barely-there noise to give it a little texture. Still not quite right.
Finally, I figured it out. It needed depth. I duplicated both the Diggs and Lamb layers, then added a slight Gaussian blur to the duplicates. I positioned these blurred layers behind the original sharp layers, and lowered their opacity. This created a subtle “glow” effect that made the whole image pop a little more. It wasn’t perfect, but it was way better.
After that, it was just a matter of saving it as a JPEG (high quality, of course) and transferring it to my phone. Set it as my wallpaper, and boom! Trevon Diggs and CeeDee Lamb staring back at me every time I unlock my phone.
- Grabbed the pics
- Fired up Photoshop
- Messed with the layout
- Added some effects
- Struggled with the flatness
- Finally added the blur for depth
- Saved and set as wallpaper
It’s not a masterpiece, but it gets the job done. And hey, I learned a few things along the way. Maybe next time I’ll try adding some custom shadows or something. Who knows?
