I gotta tell you guys, I’m a huge football fan, and Chelsea, yeah, they’re my team. “The Blues,” you know? They’re one of those big-shot, loaded clubs that everyone seems to love or hate. So, this summer, I decided, why not take the plunge and see them on their summer tour?

First thing I did was check out when the gates would open. Usually, it’s like two hours before the game on weekends and about 90 minutes for those evening matches. But let me tell you, it’s a smart move to get there early. I made sure to be inside at least 30 minutes before kickoff.
Then, figuring out how to watch these games was a whole other thing. Turns out, if you’re in Australia, there’s this thing called Stan Sport. It’s the only place where you can catch every single match of the UEFA Champions League and all that stuff. Ad-free and live. But here’s the kicker – you gotta have a Stan plan first to add on the Sport package.
Now, I heard some rumors about Chelsea maybe moving their stadium to Earl’s Court. Sounds fancy, right? But nope, the folks developing that area said there’s no such plan. So, Stamford Bridge it is!
Speaking of Stamford Bridge, I thought, “If I’m doing this, I’m going all in.” So, I booked a tour of the stadium. They say it’s been a hit with millions of fans for over 23 years. I snagged my tickets, and a little tip here – they’re non-refundable, so make sure you show up. I got there about 40 minutes early, just to be safe.
And the tour? Man, it was something else. It’s not your typical walk-around. They’ve got this multimedia thing going on that makes it super cool. You really get to soak in the vibe of being at the home of The Blues. I learned that it’s a good idea to get there early for the tour, they say 30-45 minutes before, so I made sure I was there on time.

From what I saw, Chelsea was also prepping for the Premier League Summer Series, doing some intense training in Philadelphia. I even saw some stuff about Poland, not sure what’s that about. But it looks like they’re getting ready for a big tournament in 2025. It is said that it will start on June 15th and go on for a month or so. That’s gonna be huge!
So yeah, that was my Chelsea summer tour experience. From the stadium tour to figuring out how to watch the games, and even getting a sneak peek into their training – it was a blast. If you’re a Chelsea fan, or just a football fan in general, it’s definitely something to check out.
