So, I had this thing I needed to do. I had a measurement in millimeters, 78mm to be exact, and I needed to know what that was in inches. Don’t ask me why, it’s just one of those things that pops up sometimes. You know, life.

First, I grabbed my phone. I figured there’s gotta be an app for that, right? There’s an app for everything these days. But then I thought, nah, let’s keep it simple.
The Google Method
I opened up my browser and typed in “78mm to inches”. I mean, Google knows everything, doesn’t it? And boom! There it was, right at the top of the page. No need to click on any links or anything. It’s beautiful.
- I saw the number: 3.07087.
So, 78mm is about 3.07 inches. Easy peasy. I jotted that down on a sticky note because, well, I like sticky notes.
Double Checking
I like verify it, I typed 78 divided 25.4 equals, get the same answer.

Job done.
