- Saw these “indestructible” rubber bones: Grabbed one shaped like a doughnut, squeezed it. Felt solid. Tossed it in the basket hoping it survives Max’s jaws for more than a week.
- Spotted a wall of squeaky toys: Picked up a bright pink flamingo that honked weirdly loud. Put it back fast. My ears couldn’t take it.
- Found the treat aisle: Got overwhelmed by all the bags, jars, weird freeze-dried stuff. Ended up grabbing these peanut butter flavored biscuits near the bottom shelf. Packaging looked simple, price wasn’t bad.
The Cat Shampoo Surprise
Was heading towards checkout when this shiny bottle stopped me. Label screamed “Blueberry & Oatmeal Gentle Shampoo – Purrfect for Sensitive Skin!” My cat Mochi hates baths, but her fur’s been dull. Figured why not try it? Smelled sweet, like candy. Added it to the basket. Fingers crossed Mochi doesn’t shred my arms later.
The Checkout Reality Check
Unloaded my basket onto the counter. The cashier scanned everything while I glanced around. Saw a weird pineapple-shaped cat bed I almost bought. Thankfully, didn’t. The total popped up – my wallet felt lighter. Paid, got the bags, and hustled out.
So, What’s Actually Useful?
- The Rubber Bone: Max attacked it instantly. Still intact… for now. Worth the money.
- Peanut Butter Biscuits: Max gobbled two. No weird reactions. Win.
- That Shampoo?: Used it tonight. Mochi yelled, clawed the tub, but her fur feels softer. Not sure if it’s the shampoo or sheer luck. Might need another try.
Verdict? Pink Petco’s got decent stuff if you dig through the pink. But some things? Eh. That pink flamingo toy? Not worth your pennies. Smelled weird too.
