Alright, so I wanted to mess around with this “felix gallardo” thing, see what all the fuss was about. I’d heard the name, obviously, but I figured it was time to dig a little deeper myself.

First, I just did a basic search. You know, typed the name into the search bar and hit enter. Boom. A bunch of stuff popped up, mostly about the Netflix show, Narcos: Mexico. I wasn’t really interested in the show at first, I wanted the real deal.
Digging a Bit Deeper
So I started scrolling past all the show-related stuff. I saw some news articles, some Wikipedia-type pages, all that jazz. I clicked on a few, skimmed through them. It’s all pretty crazy, right? This guy was a big deal, running this huge operation.
I spent a good hour or so just reading. Opening new tabs, going down rabbit holes, you know how it is. I found myself going from articles about him specifically, to stuff about the whole drug trade in Mexico back then, the politics, the US involvement, all of it.
- Started with basic searches.
- Found a lot of info related to the Narcos: Mexico show.
- Dug deeper for historical articles and information.
- Ended up reading about the broader context of the drug trade.
Honestly, after a while, it got pretty intense. It’s a lot to take in, all this violence and corruption. I had to take a break, step away from the computer for a bit.
I think it shows how much one person search can open too many doors.

Later, I might check out that Netflix show, see how it compares to what I read. But for now, I think I’ve had enough “felix gallardo” for one day.
