Find Your Team: A Complete Guide to NFL Bird Logos.

Okay, here’s my attempt at writing a blog post in the style you described, about “nfl bird logos”:

Find Your Team: A Complete Guide to NFL Bird Logos.

Alright, so I got this crazy idea the other day. I was watching football, and I started thinking, “Man, some of these bird logos are pretty cool, but some are…well, not so much.” So I decided to dig in and REALLY look at them, like, really look at them.

First, I grabbed a pen and paper. Yeah, old school, I know. But sometimes you just gotta scribble things down, you know?

My Deep Dive into NFL Bird Logos

I started by just listing all the NFL teams with bird mascots. Gotta be thorough, right? We got:

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Seattle Seahawks

Okay, five teams. Five birds. Five logos. Time to get serious.

I pulled up each logo on my computer, nice and big. Then I just…stared at them. For a long time. I started sketching them out, trying to get a feel for the shapes, the lines, the…bird-ness of them, I guess. It’s harder than it looks!

The Cardinals logo, it’s all sharp angles, kinda fierce. The Falcons one is super sleek, like it’s diving for a catch. The Ravens logo is kinda spooky, with those glowing eyes. The Eagles logo, classic, powerful. And the Seahawks… well, that one’s always been a bit weird to me, kinda abstract. More of a Native Design than a regular bird.

I spent a good couple of hours just messing around, drawing different versions, trying to simplify them, exaggerate features, see what worked and what didn’t. My desk was covered in crumpled paper, it looked like a bird’s nest exploded in here!

Then I tried to find the logo changes for the old ones. Wow! They were very old and different. I love comparing those logos!

Finally, I picked my favorite (Falcons, gotta love that sleekness) and my least favorite (Seahawks, sorry, just not a fan of the design). It’s all subjective, of course, but that’s the fun of it!

So yeah, that’s how I spent my afternoon – geeking out over bird logos. It might sound silly, but it was actually pretty fun. And hey, I learned a thing or two about design in the process. Maybe next time I’ll tackle the cat logos…
