Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called the “Flask of Nightmarish Mojo” in the game lately. It’s kinda become my new obsession, I guess you could say. And I think making it is not easy, so I decided to write down everything and share my experience.
First off, I went and dug up what I needed to make this flask. Turns out, you need a bunch of stuff. I grabbed 5 Flasks of Atal’ai Mojo and a Crystal Vial. Simple enough, right? But I quickly found that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Then there’s this thing called the “Inert Mantle of Nightmares.” You gotta have it to craft most of the items related to this flask. I completed a quest and got one of these, but if you need more, you can buy them from some dude named Rix Xizzix in Booty Bay. They cost 10 gold each, which isn’t too bad, I suppose.
So, I started my grand quest to make this Flask of Nightmarish Mojo. I learned that I needed to talk to some Shadowy Figure in Moonglade after finishing a quest called “Waking the Nightmare.” By the way, I needed to be at least Alchemy level 250 to do this, so that took a bit of grinding but I finally made it there.
This whole thing is part of the Season of Discovery Phase 3, which has a bunch of new recipes. I heard there are like 19 new items you can craft, and most of them need this Inert Mantle of Nightmares and something called “Nightmare Seeds.” I still have no idea what those are yet.
I tried looking up some info online, but man, there’s not much out there. I did make like 5 or 6 of these flasks, but none of them have procced yet. Maybe they don’t? It’s a flask, not a potion or something. I really hope I’m wrong, though. I don’t want to think I wasted so much time and energy to get all these things to craft it.
Anyway, I thought I’d share my experience so far. It’s been a bit of a nightmare, to be honest, but kinda fun in a weird way. I’ll keep messing around with it and see what happens. Maybe I’ll figure out how to make it proc or find some other use for it. I feel like I’m just scratching the surface with this thing, so any advice is welcome, hope you find this post helpful.

- Alchemy skill level 250 or above
What you need:
- Completed the quest chain to get the first Inert Mantle of Nightmares.
- Bought more Inert Mantles from Rix Xizzix for 10 gold each.
- Finished the “Waking the Nightmare” quest.
- Spoke to the Shadowy Figure in Moonglade to learn the recipe.
- Crafted the Flask of Nightmarish Mojo.
