Alright, so everyone’s been yapping about this “Fortnite 2024 Wrapped” thing, right? Like, seeing all their year’s stats in a neat little package. Naturally, I got curious. Wanted to see how much time I actually sunk into this game, or if my K/D was as tragic as I suspected.
First thing, I hopped online. Figured Epic Games would have something flashy on their main page, you know? Like they do for some events. Nope. Nothing official, at least not what I could find easily. That was a bit of a letdown, gotta say. So, it’s one of those community things then, I guessed. People are clever, making their own tools and stuff.
So, I started digging around forums and asking mates. Some folks mentioned a few websites. You type in your Epic ID, and bam, it supposedly spits out your year. I was a bit wary, you know? You hear stories. Tried one, it looked a bit dodgy, asked for too much info I wasn’t comfortable giving. Backed out of that one quick. Then I found another one, much simpler. It just needed my username. Seemed okay, less fuss. There were a couple of options floating around, actually, but I just picked the one that looked the least hassle and a few friends had already used.
And then, after a little bit of loading, there it was. My Fortnite life in 2024 laid bare. Man. The number of hours… let’s just say I could’ve probably learned a new language. Or maybe even two. It was quite something to see it all tallied up.
It showed my total wins, my most used skins – no real surprises there, I tend to stick to my old favorites. My overall kill count, average survival time, stuff like that. Some of it was pretty cool to see, like:
- Total hours played: We don’t talk about Bruno… I mean, the hours.
- Favorite drop spot: Still the same old trusty place. Why change what works, eh?
- Most eliminations in a single match: Not as high as I’d hoped, haha, but not too shabby.
- Victory Royales: A decent handful, I’ll definitely take it! Better than last year, I think.
Some stats were a bit of an eye-opener. Like, “Oh, I did better in Squads than I thought!” Other parts were like, “Yikes, I really need to work on my aim in Zero Build,” or “Wow, I really did spend a lot of time just messing about in Creative mode.”
So, was it worth the little bit of hunting around? Yeah, I reckon so. It’s just a bit of fun, isn’t it? A good way to look back on all those matches – the good ones, the bad ones, and the ones where you get absolutely demolished in the first two minutes. It doesn’t really change anything, but it’s a nice little summary. Makes you think about your gaming habits a bit too. Maybe in 2025, I’ll try to, you know, see the sun a bit more. Maybe.
It’s funny how these “Wrapped” things pop up for everything nowadays. But hey, if it gives you a chuckle or a moment of “huh, look at that,” then why not? Just gotta be a bit careful where you’re putting your account info, you know? Stick to the stuff that other people seem to trust, or that doesn’t ask for your password or anything super sensitive, obviously. Common sense, really.
