Okay, so, I wanted to see what was up with the Leagues Cup, you know? I kinda got into it and wanted to keep track of all the results and stuff.

First, I started checking a bunch of different websites. I mean, it was a mess. One would have some scores, another would have a piece of schedule, and no one really had everything in one spot. It was a total pain, honestly.
So, I thought, “Screw it, I’ll just make my own tracker.” I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down the results from each day. It felt kinda old school, but it worked! Every evening, after the matches, I’d go online, find the scores, and write them down. I even started making little notes about who scored and any crazy stuff that happened during the games.
Then, I figured I could do better than just a notebook. I made a simple spreadsheet on my computer. It wasn’t anything fancy, just columns for the teams, the scores, and the dates. But let me tell you, it made things so much easier to see the big picture.
- Column 1: Date of the match
- Column 2: Home Team
- Column 3: Away Team
- Column 4: Home Team Score
- Column 5: Away Team Score
I kept updating my spreadsheet every day. I’d wake up, check the scores from the night before, and plug them in. It became a little routine, you know? And it was actually kinda fun to see it all come together.
After a while, I had this pretty cool record of all the Leagues Cup results. It wasn’t perfect, but it was all mine, and I knew exactly where everything was. Plus, I didn’t have to deal with those messy websites anymore.

I even shared my spreadsheet with a couple of buddies who are also into soccer. They thought it was awesome! It was cool to be able to share something I made and have people actually find it useful.
So yeah, that’s my story of tracking the Leagues Cup results. It started as a little project to make things easier for myself, and it ended up being something I was kinda proud of. It just goes to show, sometimes the best way to get something done is to just do it yourself.
And by the way, it was a big surprise that Amrica got knocked out by Colorado on penalties! That made the MLS teams dominating the semifinals.
What I’ve learned:
- It is better to do something yourself if you want to have it exactly as you expected.
- Sometimes a very simple tool could help a lot when you deal with tons of information.
- A small hobby could grow up to a habit, and it will be a pleasure when you find it interesting.
Well, that’s all. Hope you enjoy my sharing.
