Alright, guys, let’s talk about this “mr peppy” thing I messed around with today. It wasn’t super complicated, but it took a bit of fiddling to get it right, so I figured I’d share my steps.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed the basics. I grabbed a Raspberry Pi – I used a Pi 3 B+, but I think most models would work. Then, of course, I needed an SD card. I went with a 32GB one, just to be safe. And, a power supply, obviously. Can’t do much without that.
Setting up the System
Next up, I downloaded the mr peppy image. I flashed that image onto the SD card. I used BalenaEtcher, ’cause it’s pretty straightforward. Once that was done, I popped the SD card into the Pi and hooked everything up – power, monitor, keyboard, the whole shebang.
First Boot and Configuration
I fired it up, and it booted! Took a little while, but hey, it’s a Pi. I saw the config, and i make some changes for the wifi, I entered my Wi-Fi details, so it could get online.
Playing Around
Now for the fun part! I started playing some music. I connected a USB drive with some tunes on it, and it worked like a charm.
I also checked the different plugins. It was a nice time to check what worked or not.

Wrapping Up
So, that’s pretty much it. I managed to get mr peppy up and running without too much trouble. It’s a neat little project if you’re looking for a simple way to play music on your Pi. It wasn’t perfect, and there are definitely some things I’d tweak, but overall, it was a fun little experiment.
