I’ve always been into bikes, and recently, I got my hands on a Harley HD Street 750. I remember seeing it and thinking, “This could be something different.” I already own an 80s Ducati, so I was kinda looking for a change of pace, you know? And with me being a bit on the shorter side—5 foot 6, to be exact—the low seat height of this one really caught my eye during the test ride.

So, I went ahead and took the plunge. Got the bike, started riding it around. It’s not the kind of ride that’s gonna blow your mind or anything, but it’s decent. I mean, for the price, it’s pretty fair. It felt good getting back on a bike after a few years of not riding.
First thing I did was really get a feel for the controls. The 6-speed transmission is smooth, and the clutch? Oh man, it’s a multi-plate with a diaphragm spring in oil. Feels solid, you know? And they use a carbon fiber belt for the final drive, which is pretty neat. Keeps things running smoothly.
I started taking it on longer rides, pushing it a bit to see what it could do. It’s got a 649 cc engine, and I found out it puts out about 58 horsepower at around 8000 RPM. Not too shabby. It’s not super heavy either, about 223 kilograms, which makes it kinda nimble.
One day, I decided to really see what this bike was about. I took it on a long trip, just cruising, enjoying the ride. The Street 750 handled it like a champ. It’s not built for crazy speeds, but it’s got enough power to make the ride enjoyable.
Now, I’ve been tinkering with it a bit, you know, personalizing it. I did add a few accessories here and there, just to make it more ‘me’. It’s a 2020 model, so it’s got that modern touch but still has that classic Harley vibe.

- Engine: 649cc
- Power: Around 58 HP
- Weight: 223 kg
- Transmission: 6-speed
All in all, the Harley HD Street 750 has been a solid ride. It’s no Ducati, but it’s got its own charm. It’s all about enjoying the ride, right? And this bike definitely lets you do that. It seems like Harley was trying to get some younger folks into their brand with this one, and maybe reach out to places where smaller bikes are more popular. Smart move, if you ask me.
So, yeah, that’s my experience with the Harley HD Street 750. It’s been a good ride, and I’m looking forward to many more miles on it. Just cruising along, enjoying the scenery, feeling the engine purr beneath me. That’s what it’s all about.
