Okay, so, here’s the deal. I set out on this mission to hit 116 pounds. Sounds simple enough, right? But let me tell you, it was a journey, to say the least.

First things first, I knew I had to start somewhere. So, I started by cutting out all the junk food. No more late-night snacks, no more sugary drinks. It was tough, I won’t lie. I had major cravings in the beginning, but I told myself, “No, you got this!” I started filling up on the good stuff – fruits, veggies, you know, all those things your mom always told you to eat.
Next up, I knew I had to get moving. I’m not a gym person, never have been, never will be. So, I started small. I took walks around the neighborhood. At first, it was just a short loop, but slowly, I started going further and further. Then I added in some jogging. Man, I felt that burn, but I kept pushing.
- Day 1-7: Mostly walking, light jogging, felt like I was dying, but kept at it.
- Day 8-14: Increased the jogging, started noticing some changes, felt pretty good.
- Day 15-21: Got into a routine, walking and jogging felt easier, started seeing the number on the scale go down.
- Day 22-30: Kept pushing, added in some home workouts, really felt the difference, and the scale was showing it too!
The scale was my friend and enemy. Some days it would barely move, and I’d get so frustrated. Other days, it would drop a little, and I’d feel like I was on top of the world. I learned that it’s all about consistency. You can’t expect to see changes overnight. It’s a slow process, but it’s worth it.
And then, one day, I stepped on the scale, and there it was – 116 pounds. I couldn’t believe it. I actually did it. All those weeks of hard work, it all paid off. I felt amazing, not just because I lost weight, but because I proved to myself that I could do anything I set my mind to.
What I Learned
This whole thing taught me a lot. It’s not just about the number on the scale. It’s about feeling good, feeling healthy, and feeling strong. It’s about making small changes and sticking with them. And most importantly, it’s about believing in yourself, even when things get tough.
So, that’s my story. It wasn’t easy, but I did it. And you know what? If I can do it, anyone can. Trust me. You’ve just gotta start somewhere.
